Foreman

Job Description

Foreman supervises daily on-site operations, managing crews, enforcing safety regulations, and ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Site Supervision: Oversee daily construction operations, ensuring compliance with building plans, blueprints, and quality standards.
• Crew Management: Hire, train, schedule, and supervise crew members, assigning daily tasks and managing attendance.
• Safety Enforcement: Ensure strict adherence to OSHA, company, and site-specific safety regulations, including PPE use.
• Resource Coordination: Manage materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring necessary supplies are on-site and in good working order.
• Communication: Act as the liaison between field employees and upper management/project owners, reporting on progress and obstacles.

Requirements

• Experience: Proven experience (typically 3+ years) as a construction foreman or similar leadership role.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of construction processes, equipment, and structural blueprints.
• Leadership: Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills to lead crews under pressure.
• Organization: Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines.
• Physical Ability: Ability to work in all weather conditions and move/lift materials (up to 50–70 lbs).
