Job Description

The Painter is responsible for painting the interior and exterior surfaces of buildings and structures, applying protective coatings, and shaping their aesthetic appearance within construction and industrial projects. The worker must carry out all tasks in accordance with safety, quality, and technical standards.

Responsibilities

• Preparation work
• Ensure the cleaning, smoothing, and preparation of surfaces to be painted (walls, ceilings, metal, concrete, etc.)
• Clean old paint layers, rust, dirt, and damaged sections
• Repair cracks and defects on surfaces with filler and other materials
• Painting and coating work:
• Select and apply the type of paint in accordance with the project plan and technical requirements
• Paint interior and exterior surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
• Ensure application of protective and anti-corrosion coatings
• Monitor that paint layers are even, high-quality, and standards-compliant
• Check that painting work complies with technical requirements and quality standards
• Carry out corrections when defects are found
• Maintain reports and documentation on completed work
• Safety and discipline:
• Comply with occupational health and technical safety rules
• Use personal protective equipment when working with paint and chemicals
• Comply with fire safety rules
• Maintain cleanliness and order at the work site
• Use of tools and materials:
• Properly use painting tools and equipment
• Ensure proper storage of paint and materials
• Monitor the technical condition of equipment
• Team collaboration:
• Work in coordination with other construction workers and foremen
• Carry out management's assignments on time and accurately
• Comply with the work schedule during the project

Requirements

• Education and experience:
• Secondary or vocational education (preferred)
• Minimum 1–2 years of work experience as a painter
• Knowledge and skills:
• • Knowledge of various paints and coating materials
• • Knowledge of surface preparation and painting technologies
• • Physical endurance and precision
• Language skills:
• • Azerbaijani language – basic level
• Personal qualities:
• • Being responsible and attentive
• • Quality-oriented approach
