Arc Welder

Job Description

The Arc Welder is a skilled worker who joins metal structures, pipes, and various steel parts using the electric arc welding method. They must carry out welding work in accordance with project drawings, technical specifications, and international/local standards, while strictly observing occupational safety and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Join metal structures, steel profiles, plates, and pipes using electric arc welding.
• Ensure preparation of materials before welding (cleaning, measuring, aligning).
• Read and apply technical drawings, isometric diagrams, and welding symbols.
• Correctly use appropriate welding electrodes and equipment.
• Check the quality of weld seams visually and technically.
• Comply with safety rules and fire prevention requirements during welding.
• Ensure daily inspection and proper maintenance of welding equipment.
• Carry out corrections and repairs when weld defects are found.
• Work in coordination with quality control and site management.
• Maintain required reports and records on completed work.
