Electrician Helper

Job Description

The Electrician Helper assists electricians and the senior electrician in carrying out electrical work in accordance with project plans, technical specifications, and safety requirements. This role includes supporting electrical installation, maintenance, and testing work, and ensuring proper use and care of tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Support in electrical work: Assisting electricians with cable pulling, installation, and mounting work; participating in the installation of electrical panels, distribution boards, lighting, and outlets; supporting the installation of cable trays, conduits, and ducts.
• Working with tools and materials: Ensuring electrical tools and equipment are ready for use; helping with the transport, sorting, and proper storage of materials; ensuring tools used are kept clean and in working order.
• Safety and compliance: Following occupational health and electrical safety rules; correctly using personal protective equipment; immediately reporting hazardous situations to management.
• Maintenance and cleanliness: Assisting with cleaning of electrical equipment and simple maintenance work; keeping the work area tidy and safe.
• Documentation and reporting: Informing the electrician or senior electrician about the completion of assigned tasks.
