Landscape Architecture
Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Landscape Architect with strong experience in landscaping, horticulture, and agricultural operations. The role involves leading research initiatives, developing landscaping programs, supervising implementation activities, and ensuring effective pest and soil management across landscaped areas.
Responsibilities
- Direct research and experiments to identify land use challenges and suitable plant varieties
- Develop and improve techniques for nursery operations, planting, spraying, cultivation, harvesting, and storage
- Provide guidance on planning and developing community landscaping projects
- Develop programs to achieve high-quality landscaping design and cost-effective implementation
- Train staff on modern agricultural and horticultural technologies and methodologies
- Study soil characteristics and develop improved soil conservation and measurement techniques
- Design work programs for gardening, landscaping, and nursery personnel
- Review and advise staff on performance and prepare periodic supervisory reports
- Coordinate and implement Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programs
- Conduct pest surveys, collect samples, and improve plant pest control strategies
- Provide technical advice on horticultural and agricultural pest management
Requirements
- Nationality: West & East Europe
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Agriculture, or equivalent from a recognized institution
- Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in gardening, landscaping, agriculture, or equivalent
- At least 5 years of experience in horticulture, gardening, plantations, or related fields
- Technical Requirement:
- Knowledge of irrigation systems
- Additional Requirements:
- Strong expertise in soil management, pest control, and horticultural practices
- Ability to supervise staff and manage landscaping programs
