Senior Process Engineer - Oil & Gas

Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Process Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and troubleshooting processes in our oil and gas operations. This role requires a deep understanding of process engineering principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of process systems for oil and gas production, refining, and processing facilities
• Conduct process simulations and modeling to ensure efficient and safe operations
• Develop and implement process control strategies to enhance operational performance
• Perform process hazard analyses and risk assessments
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards
• Provide technical support to operations and maintenance teams
• Prepare and review process engineering documentation (P&IDs, PFDs, equipment specifications)
• Participate in commissioning and start-up activities
• Drive continuous improvement by staying current with industry trends and technologies

Requirements

• 8–10 years of process engineering experience in the oil and gas industry
• Strong knowledge of process design, simulation, and optimization tools (Aspen HYSYS, PRO/II)
• Experience with process safety management and risk assessment methodologies
• Proven experience in Concept, FEED, Detail Design, and EPC projects
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
• PE license or equivalent certification is a plus
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required
