Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Instrumentation Engineer to join our team for Oil & Gas projects. The successful candidate will assist in the design, analysis, and implementation of instrumentation and automation systems, ensuring compliance with project requirements, industry standards, schedules, and budgets. This role offers strong exposure to multidisciplinary engineering activities and opportunities for professional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of detailed instrumentation and automation designs for Oil & Gas facilities
  • Support selection and specification of field instruments including transmitters, sensors, analyzers, and control valves
  • Assist in the design and implementation of PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems
  • Support the design of Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) and Emergency Shutdown Systems (ESD) in compliance with IEC 61511
  • Develop P&IDs, loop diagrams, control schematics, and hook-up drawings
  • Assist in cable tray layout, conduit routing, and cable scheduling
  • Prepare MTOs for instruments, cables, trays, junction boxes, and control panels
  • Support MR preparation, Technical Bid Evaluation, and vendor drawing review
  • Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and process disciplines
  • Assist in project execution, progress monitoring, and reporting

Requirements

  • 5–9 years of experience in instrumentation and automation engineering within Oil & Gas projects
  • Experience in Concept, FEED, Detail Design, and EPC projects
  • Proficiency in engineering tools such as SP3D, AutoCAD, SmartPlant Instrumentation, and Exilentia
  • Knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards (API, IEC, IEEE, NEC)
  • Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as required
