Sandblaster (4th Grade)

Job Description

Perform cleaning works of metal surfaces, pipelines, and various steel structures from rust, old paint, and scale using sandblasting equipment. Prepare sandblasting equipment, compressors, hoses, and other auxiliary tools for operation, ensuring their proper and safe condition. Monitor the compliance of cleaned surfaces with technical requirements and quality standards (e.g., Sa 2.5/Sa 3 level). Ensure proper control over the consumption of materials (sand, abrasive powder, etc.) used during the work process. Strictly comply with occupational health, safety (HSE), and fire safety regulations at the production site. Properly use personal protective equipment (sandblasting helmet, special clothing, etc.) as intended. Perform other production tasks assigned by the direct supervisor.

Requirements

• Education/Grade: Relevant vocational education or sandblaster certificate/license of the 4th grade.
• Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of work experience in a relevant industrial, construction, or oil and gas sector.
• Professional Skills: Knowledge of the operating principle and maintenance rules of sandblasting equipment.
• Physical Requirements: Endurance for heavy physical working conditions and appropriate health status.
• Personal Qualities: Responsibility, discipline, accuracy, and teamwork skills.
