Gas Cutter / Flame Cutter

Job Description

Performing manual and semi-automatic oxy-fuel (gas) cutting of metal structures, pipes, and metal sheets of various thicknesses. Accurately sizing and preparing metals according to engineering drawings and technical specifications. Cleaning cut surfaces and removing slag, burrs, and defects. Preparing gas cylinders (acetylene, propane, oxygen) and regulators for safe operation, and monitoring gas pressure. Strict adherence to health and safety, labor protection, and fire safety regulations at the work site.

Requirements

• Professional Experience: Minimum 1–3 years of work experience as a gas cutter / flame cutter or in a relevant industrial field.
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of oxy-fuel cutting technology and safety rules for handling pressurized gas cylinders and regulators.
• Equipment Skills: Practical proficiency in operating cutting torches, pressure regulators, hoses, and gas tanks safely.
• Reading Skills: Ability to interpret engineering drawings and cutting layouts.
• Personal Qualities: High attention to detail, responsibility, physical stamina, and strict adherence to safety protocols.
