Diver Supervisor

Job Description

This position cannot be started directly through a course. A candidate must typically go through the following stages.

Responsibilities

• Safety: Assesses risks before diving begins (HIRA) and prepares an emergency response plan.
• Communication: Maintains constant audio and video contact with the diver, providing underwater guidance.
• Equipment Control: Oversees air supply systems, decompression chambers, and gas mixtures.
• Legal Responsibility: Signs the dive logbook and bears direct responsibility for any incident that occurs.
