As part of the audit process we will look at each individual position within the organization
through personal interviews with individual department heads and a review of existing job
descriptions (or employment contracts). We will determine an extent of completeness of
available information in accordance with international standards. In particular, we will be
looking at whether job descriptions contain the following information:
- Purpose and Scope
- Functional Responsibilities and Latitude
- Contacts and Communications
- Supervisory Responsibilities
- Job Specific Competencies
- Work Conditions and Physical Effort
We will identify the gaps in existing job descriptions in general, and will present our view on what needs to be done in regards to filling these gaps. Please note that as part of an HR audit we will not be writing or editing job descriptions.
We will analyze an existing job evaluation system in place and will determine whether it
accurately reflects organizational structure and needs.
